Who we are

De Novo Digital (Pty) Ltd, Pretoria, is the responsible party. Our Information Officer is the principal, reachable at info@denovodigital.co.za.

What we collect, and why

The free site review form: your firm name, website address, your name, email, and optionally a mobile number. We use it for exactly one thing — reviewing the site you asked us to review and sending you what we find.

Research on prospective clients:when we review a law firm’s public website, we record what we find alongside publicly available contact details. This is the legitimate-interest processing that makes the free review possible.

Client records: for firms we work with, we hold billing details, correspondence, and the service history needed to run the engagement and invoice correctly.

The public site sets no tracking cookies. A login cookie exists only for our own staff area. If we add analytics later, this policy will say so before it happens.

Who processes it with us

Cloudflare proxies this website and terminates TLS. Google processes email we send and receive through our mailbox. Where we use AI writing tools to draft correspondence, the relevant provider processes the content of that draft. Each acts as an operator or sub-operator under POPIA; none may use your information for their own purposes on our instruction.

How long we keep it

Review requests and prospect research are kept while a conversation is live and purged when it is not. Client and billing records are kept as long as tax law requires. You can shorten either — see your rights below.

Your rights

You may ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Email info@denovodigital.co.za and we’ll answer within a reasonable time — usually the same working day. If you’re not satisfied, you may complain to the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.
